- Exercise regularly.

- Avoid or quit smoking.

- Limit alcohol intake.

- Avoid inflammatory foods such as refined carbs, fried foods and processed meats. Rather follow a diet rich in whole foods such as fresh fruits and vegetables, wholegrains, nuts, seeds, spices and unprocessed meats.

- Avoid foods that trigger food-sensitivities, if you have any.

- Manage your stress.
